Home page of the Gluten Intolerance Group of North America (G.I.G.). The site contains information, research, fund raising events and more.

Celiac Disease Foundation

Celiac Disease Foundation provides support, information and assistance to people affected by Celiac Disease/Dermatitis Herpetiformis (CD/DH). CDF increases awareness among the general public and works closely with health care professionals, pharmaceutical and medical industries. This cooperative effort puts CDF at the forefront of CD.

American Celiac Disease Alliance

 The American Celiac Disease Alliance was formed on March 10, 2005 in response to a mandate from the National Institute of Health (NIH) symposium in June 2004. Members of the ACDA had initially come together as the American Celiac Task Force. The bulk of this group's work is in the important area of food labeling.

Center For Celiac Research & Treatment

 The Center For Celiac Research & Treatment is an institution engaged in clinical care, diagnostic support, education, and clinical and basic science research in Celiac Disease. Dr. Alessio Fasano is the director. This site has much information on general information about Celiac disease and on current research.

University of Chicago Celiac Disease Center

 The University of Chicago Celiac Disease Center is dedicated to raising diagnosis rates and meeting the critical needs of people affected by celiac disease through education, research and advocacy. The site has much information on testing, diagnosis and understanding the disease.

National Foundation for Celiac Awareness

The National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to finding a cure for Celiac Disease. NFCA, a national organization, is affiliated with the leading researchers in the US who are working toward this goal.  They have a great newsletter with recipes, etc. We have big thank you for the NFCA for sponsoring our Celiac Walk this Spring and 2012!

Gluten Free Works

 Gluten Free Works is a comprehensive website that helps with understanding the Gluten Free diet and lifestyle. There are links to health and diet information, as well as an online store resource with a variety of GF products. The site also contains an online discussion forum and a newsletter.

Canadian Celiac Association

 The Canadian Celiac Association is the national organization in Canada and is based in Mississauga (about an hour away from the border from us).

Erie, PA Chapter of CSA

 This is the Erie, PA chapter of our national group (CSA).

Alba Therapeutics

 Alba Therapeutics is clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery, development and commercialization of pharmaceutical products to treat autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. They are currently doing a Celiac Disease clinical research study which is in progress. They're in Phase 2 currently and expect to complete the study in late 2013. Not only are they doing medical research, they sponsored our Celiac Walk in 2012.

Crunchmaster's slogan is: "You won't just like us, you'll love us!" and with the tasty crunch of their multigrain crackers you will. In addition to producing crackers, they were a sponsor of our Spring 2012 Celiac Walk and sponsored again this spring!

Earth Balance

Earth Balance prides themselves on their slogan "Taste is King". Their products are 100% plant based, gluten-free, lactose-free, egg-free and casein-free. But did they mention...they're absolutely delicious?  Their website lists products, recipes, kitchen tips and more. They were a wonderful sponsor of our Celiac Walk in 2012!

Foodtek Quick Bake and Fast & Fresh Products

 If you have kids you will want to check this website out!! Food-Tek makes quick & easy GF baking mixes for children & can be used in the Easy Bake Oven, as well as conventional oven and/or microwave. Check out their product line.

French Meadows Bakery

 French Meadows Bakery is a company has a line of gluten free products including rolls, cookies and brownies. The products can be found in your local Tops, Wegmans, and Feel Rite markets. Note: when ordering online or buying products in the store, not all products are gluten free, so please read the labels.

General Mills

 General Mills is a company that understands Celiacs. They have brand name Gluten Free products on the shelves in our grocery stores every day. Whether it's Chex or Betty Crocker, check out these every day products. But GM doesn't just provide products. They were a sponsor of our Celiac Walk this year and last year!

Gluten Evolution (website of Manna from Anna)

 Manna From Anna is a link to a Gluten Free bread mix that tastes like . . . . well, BREAD! It has more fiber & protein than rice bread and is soft. Great for sandwiches. They have a wonderful stuffing recipe for Thanksgiving (or any other time!).

Gluten-Free Mall

 The Gluten Free Mall is a great source for Gluten-Free Foods Online. Since 1998 the Gluten-Free Mall has offered online shopping for those on gluten-free diets.

Gluten Free Oats®

 GF Harvest is a company that provides a certified gluten free rolled oat product and other gluten free grains. This website has recipes and resources for Celiacs from a family that knows what being Celiac means. You can order in bulk and save in your freezer!

Gluten Freely

Gluten Freely is the website from General Mills in partnership with the Center For Celiac Research, the University of Chicago Celiac Disease Center and the Bell Institute of Health and Nutrition. There is a ton of information, recipes and products. They were a great sponsor of our Celiac Walk in Spring 2012.


Glutino has been specializing in gluten-free products since 1983. They provide more than 80 gluten-free products with baking mixes, crackers, pretzels, snack bars and so much more. Not only do they help Celiacs with delicious products, they were a great sponsor of the Celiac Walk in May this year and last year too!

Go Picnic

Gluten Free eaters rejoice - your search for gluten-free meals and snacks ends here! Go Picnic provides ready to eat meals that you can take with you. These meals require no refrigeration, heating or preparation. They were a big part of our Celiac Walk last year and this year by being a sponsor. Thank You!


Ian's is the company that makes gluten-free entrees and other products in that distinctive yellow packaging. Their products are available in local stores. 'Good enough' simply isn't good enough for Ians. For over ten years they have been providing gluten-free products that you can depend on. They were a great sponsor of our Celiac Walk in May 2012.

Joan's GF Great Bakes

Joan's GF Great Bakes offers the best GF bagels and English muffins, as well as pizza, Italian bread and chocolate chip cookie dough. All items are ready to be baked in your oven and are shipped in dry ice. We are looking to have the products available at Feel Rite stores, so let your local store manager know that you would like to have these products in your store.

Jovian Inherently Good

 If you believe that eating gluten-free should be pleasureable and not a sacrifice then Jovial Inherently Good is for you. They have a great selection of pastas and cookies that are certified gluten-free. They focus on quality from farm to shelf. They also helped us by sponsoring the Celiac Walk in the Spring of 2012.

Pamela's Products

Pamela's Products website has products, recipes, how-to videos and recipe contests. Pamela has been working since 1988 after she graduated from college to create Gluten-Free foods that taste great. Bob & Ruth's Gluten-Free Travel and Dining Club

 Bob & Ruth's GF Travel and Dining Club offers GF travel packages, workshops about dining & travelling and a quarterly newsletter. They do require a membership fee.


 Here is a website focused exclusively on user-submitted gluten-free travel reviews. It is very new and will become more comprehensive as users post reviews of their travel/dining experiences. Triumph Dining Cards

 Check out this wonderful new resource for ethnic restaurant dining. Triumph Dining Cards are laminated cards for six different ethnic cuisines: American (in English and Spanish), Chinese (in traditional Chinese and English), Japanese (in Japanese and English), Indian (in Hindi and English), Mexican (in Spanish and English), and Thai (in Thai and English). The language is quite specific and detailed.

Walt Disney World dining information

 This is a blog with Walt Disney World gluten free dining. There are phone numbers and email addresses.


Yelp is a website that can be used to search for Gluten Free restaurants all over the world. Reviews from people are a big plus.


 Not every company provides Gluten Free products or information necessary for the GF diet. But a company like Endurafit provides support for Celiacs such as our Spring 2012 Celiac Walk. If you remember the cool t-shirts you wore last year, you'll see Endurafit was a great sponsor. And they helped us again this year with new shirts for this years walk!
